Good morning. I have a chance to buy a NOS Woods 1012 loader locally. I would like to install it on my 4WD Deere 650. The 650 is rated at 17hp, which is the bottom end of the recommended 17-30hp for the 1012. The 650 has auxiliary supply and return valves on its 3pt control valve to allow installation of a loader with "power beyond." I do not have power steering. I will also need to make or buy brackets.
I am just wondering if anyone here has familiarity with the woods 1012. It is apparently a discontinued model and I have not have success finding a manual from Woods. I am wondering if it is the right size for the 650. The 650 is small and light so I do not want to overload it with too much loader. Any insight is appreciated. I posted a similar question at the Deere forum. Thanks in advance. Dave
