Trunk or treat

We had Trunk or treat at church last night. We took 2 tractors and gave out candy corn and cow tails. Kids love tractors!

Safety first or you will end up like this poor girl!

My wife made candy corn ring toss.

Those seats on a B AC are made for several kids.
Must have been designed for going out on dates. LOL

Looks like fun but what is TRUNK or treat and what are cows tails? We live Quite a ways out of town and have no small kids near by so we have never had any trick or treaters at the house, the town holds trick or treat on main st. so the kids go there. BTW I always buy candy just in case so now I have to eat it, darn it all.

Trunk or Treat is where people park their cars and trucks in a closed off parking lot, head in park with the trunk open, load the trunk or bed with candy for the kids, some decorate the car, dress in costume. Usually done as a form of a car show, but not always.

Cowtails is a caramel stick candy.

Several of the villages here moved Halloween forward to Wed night. Good thing they did. Lots of wind, some places getting 7" rain over night with creek and stream flooding, road closures, power outages, and emergency rescues of flood victims.--------Loren

Hi Philip My wife played the Organ for a concert in Charlottetown PEI this past summer. We have a camp in Labelle NS. we try to get up there at least twice a summer. We have also visited with Phil25 a couple times, great folks he tells me he visited with you this past summer.

We do the same thing at our church. Seems to be a good time for everyone, you get to see the folks from church, out of church.
