Got bitten by the love bug.

I go past Kubota dealer 2x a day. This afternoon I stopped in. There was an L3560HSTC Limited Edition Kubota smilling at me. I told the salesman I wanted to sniff the exhaust. To my Amazement I didn't get a headache.

I told the dealer I'll be back after I get the pole barn built. With zero interest, I may finance about half of it, annunitize an investment to make the monthly payment.

No side mirrors, however there is a metal bracket for 2 mirrors. I can't see the 3 pt arms, so a back up camera is will be added.

I think CBD is a miracle drug.

I told you that before GEO. The only time mine smells sometimes is when it in ren cycle and I get a burnt paint smell. But I would not want to stand in front of it for a long time

George probably half the new tractors sold in my part of Florida are Kubotas. They have a strong dealer network here with really good support. I've worked on quite a few of them for folks around here and I've had a few in my shop that were terribly abused but they were still running and working. I've only seen one of the compacts with the HST transmission fail and when it got to my shop it had over 5000 hours on it and the transmission filter had not been changed since the dealer did it at 500 hours. The cost to rebuild the main pump and everything else that was torn up on it was more than twice what the tractor was worth. But even after all that abuse the little diesel engine started and ran like a new one. I think you will like that tractor and it will give you many years of service.

If I was in the market for a tractor that size it would be my first choice.
The only thing I recommend is build a good grill guard for it. The plastic hoods on these new tractor won't take the abuse that the old steel ones would and it is very expensive to replace one. Just my two cents

Sorry Larry. I'm not buy a loader. I just want to replace the Jubilee. A tractor with heat and AC has been on my bucket list for a very long time.

The loader on the Kubota is rated at lifting about the same as the terramite. The backhoe is as valuable as the loader.

I may have to store Kubota in my pole barn down south until I get the new one built.

The only way I would get rid of the terramite would be to get a terramite with a factory cab. Until then I'll use the CBS cab.

It has a mirror inside cab and brackets to attach mirrors on outside cab. It does have a step.

The seat felt very comfortable. 100x more comfortable than the Jubilee. No arm rest. I have lights on all my tractors and never use them. Don't have cruse on any tractor. It does need a rear camera. Last camera I got off Walmart online was under $100

John that is not the case with this model. You are thinking of X series Kubotas. This limited edition is in fact limited to what the dealers ordered at the dealer meeting , a one time run or production of this model that dealers will not be able to order thru normal ordering .

Why? Only place I have with slope is
gravel pit. I plan to use this tractor
at my place up north, all flat ground.

I was just stating some of the differences in the limited edition model.
These may not be options you need or want so the limited edition tractor is best for you.
I'm thinking the cost difference is only a couple of grand so you may have wanted to consider the standard version that is not striped down.

Yes the mirror brackets are there but the mirrors are not.
Yes the seat is comfortable but it is not the deluxe seat.
Yes it has a step on the left side.
But do not try getting out the right door or you may wonder where the steps went.
No you may not want or need cruise control.
No you may not need work lights.

The Utility Special is the one without any frills. And you want a loader, even if you don't want it, because someday you'll want to sell it, and there's nothing more lonely than waiting for folks to come and look at a tractor without a loader. Ditto 4 wheel drive.

You will like the new Kubota My wife bought me a new John Deere 4320 compact tractor for Christmas in 2010 and I love that tractor nothing better when your having a bad day than to get in the cab and till some ground or haul some gravel and all of a sudden your day is much better. You will like the new tractor. Randy

I have just one question. If it is a good model why not continue producing it and limited edition what about parts down the line? Limited production to me means less interest in company producing parts than for a non limited production unit.

I don't know, a few years ago was looking for a little bigger tractor than my Kubota BX2360, dealer had a B2650 with cab, heat and air, loader with ssqa.
It was previous years model and didn't think I needed a cab,but man whether in summer when cutting a tree down, and loading on trailer, its nice to be able to get in the cab with air conditioner blowing cold air on me or in the winter pushing snow in shirt sleeves.
Kind of wished I got the mid mount mower, but does handle the 5' brush hog okay for what I need.

I did put a rear view camera on with the monitor up in the RH corner of the cab, very helpful when mowing or pushing snow.

Replaced the cab lights with led and added a pair of led's to the back, wiring was already there, so was simple add on.

I don't regret getting a cabbed tractor.

If that's what you want BUY IT : )

The next one I buy will have all the whistles and bells...

4X4 mandatory

Loader Mandatory ,loader comes off in a few minutes and with a quick attach bucket accessory are nice to have... Pallet forks and a grapple life will be good...

By all means extendable lower lift arms are no deal..

The complaint I have with my L4600 HST is the seat I have moved it forward 2" form factory its still to far away to my liking... The seat just shucks I should have got one with tilt wheel...

There are other things I would have liked so I made them to my liking...

I will take the terramite off your hands if that will help..

John
The HST peddle is on the right side on my terramite same as Kubota. I get on and off left side so I don't accidentally hit the peddle. So no biggie. If I need something on any thing I have I simply make it. The step and mirrors isn't a challenge for a redneck.
I asked about mid PTO and if they make a 6 ft belly mower? NO

I really don't understand this. Normal diesel exhaust doesn't bother me but these tier 4 engines exhaust have a sweet sickly smell that gives me a headache from hade--. I really hate getting behind one in traffic because of it. I know we are all different but still???

Me too. I can stand old ole black smoke belching diesel ,but some of these new ones when I get behind them they darn near kill me ! I have no idea which makes or models or tier they are though.
I have been seeing stickers on the back of new looking school buses that say powered by propane.

Geo,

I am in agreement with the others, get the loader on it, will resell better and handy to have if terramite is not there.

Might want to buy the deluxe seat.

You cant take it with you.

Cuzz without them its aggravating as ell to attach a implement with standard new lower lift arms...

On mine extendable arms were $800 I just put a Pat's system on it. If that did not work I was gonna shell out $800 : (

Bota'a 3 point hook us is not the best user friendly set up... New does not help either...

(quoted from post at 19:52:49 10/24/19) Why? Only place I have with slope is
gravel pit. I plan to use this tractor
at my place up north, all flat ground.

Just saying that is when it is really noticeable. Not so noticeable when doing short turns or not much straight work. Anyway watch the horn emblem on the wheel and see if it changes position while working. If you do not care, so be it.

It has extendable arms. I use teramite and chains to lift my implements. Makes it easier to hook up when you're not fighting gravity.

David I have 2 terramites which can lift close to the Kubota.

I'm not buying a third loader. A loader without a hoe on the back is only half as good. I use both ends of my terramites.

I'm sure you intend to check prices. Mine came from 100 miles south east and the price was much less. Also consider the 805 loader, a lot better and heavier and works well if you normally keep something on the back for counterweight....

Bill.
FRONT LOADER PACKAGE (899 LBS LIFT CAPACITY) from Kubota built My Kubota.
Cost for loader is about $4K PLUS SALES TAX.
My terramite loader lift 1700#. Go to last page for loader lift.
https://www.onestoprent.com/pdf/specsheet/370.pdf

The tractor on the lot has a loader. Salesman wants to sell me the the tractor minus the loader. That has to be expensive to do. No idea why he doesn't want to order a new tractor without a loader.

There is no option on BUILDMyKubota for front bumper, air ride and cruse. Just looked at L3560 LE and it has all the above at a price much less than on kubota site.
Build my kubota app.

Mike
Salesman is going to remove loader and sell tractor only for $27500. O% interest.

I can't see everything can be removed.

Like they say the deal isn't done until the fat man sings.

Hobo,
Thanks but no thanks. I'll keep both
terramites.

Buying Kubota because I want an air
conditioned lawn mower and a heated snow
plow.

There is a little snag to O% interest I did take them up on O% interest tho... You will have to buy a bumper to bumper warranty like any warranty if it not needed you are throwing money away.

I punctured a rear tire I got a new mounted tire with the center bolt and go : ) and they let me keep the old one, I had the old one repaired. I dented the hood I got a complete hood grill assy and got to keep the old hood... I built a good grill/brush guard so that would not happen again...

In reality I brought it tho : ( That/s the downside of O% interest. If you can pay for it you may save a coupe grand

I hear John Deere is selling at dealer cost with 0 interest for 84 months. With a 10yr. Power train warrenty. At least they are here in southern Il.

I would wager you would have to buy a $10K extended warranty.

There is no free lunch someone pays and someone has to profit off it and there has to be something in it for everyone involved in the sale..

HOBO,
Don't put too much money on extended warranty.
I didn't get one for XT5. It came with a 3 year
warranty. This tractor comes with a 6 year power
train.

On the other hand, I will always buy an extended
warranty on new wash machines.
Geo

VicS,
I'll only buy a car, truck or new tractor from a local dealer. No way do I want to trailer a tractor 100 miles to get it serviced.

My Kubota dealer is a reputable local dealer and only about 10 miles away. I go past dealer daily.

On the other hand, I did buy two used terramites, no dealer.
I have to do all repairs on my Farmall, Kawasaki mule, Ford and terramites.
Geo.

Mike,
I never asked. I only want tractor. I think the young salesman may not know what he's talking about.

I am getting my ducks in a row so my 401K will be making the payments. geo
