Neat way to haul barn siding.

I saw this at Menards. I had to ask what he's hauling. Barn siding. I told the guy I would have given him the Redneck award. but because he used new materials he gets the At a boy engineering award.

Wish more people would post pictures of their engineering ideas.

the one thing I would do different is to counter sink the anchor bolts so there flush with the top of the board

I don't get what's special about it.
Just a guy who's getting it done.
Like hauling 25' pre rolled gutters on a 16' trailer. It's not big engineering. It's just all in a day's work.

Just another example of doing what you need to do to get a job done. We have all come up with an idea to accomplish something. As they say "Sometimes this head is more than a hat rack".

I haul 3" x 40' irrigation pipe on my 22' PJ deckover bp trailer by sticking an H frame made of 2x4's in the stake pockets at the front of the trailer and chaining a 4x6 across the upright ramps at the back. The front is high enough to extend over the bed of my truck. Not totally legal with that much overhanging the back, but have never been stopped. I put a red flag on the rear....
