Early ford 2000 3 point problems

Have rebuilt the pump and re sealed the lift cylinder and checked and adjusted the draft and position according to the repair manual and the lift hasn't changed. It takes about 8 to 10 minutes from start up for the lift to react but after it does it seems ok as long as it's being used. If it's not used for 10 min or so the reaction is severely delayed not as bad as initial start up but slower than it should be. The only thing I did not look at are the check valves in the cylinder housing and the top plate. Any ideas out there?

Probably a check valve letting the oil drain back
then it takes it awhile to pick it up even with a new
pump you get a whopping 8 gpm flow

Which 2000 - 4 cylinder or 3 cylinder?
Always tell us which.
No check valves in those.
I would inspect the condition of the
hydraulic manifold that connects to the
pump.
Could be loose bolts or maybe got bashed
somehow and is not sealing properly and
caysing loss of prime.

I would suspect your issue in the un-loader o-ring has deteriorated and sticking when the fluid warms up it will function...

That does not explain why a 10 min soak would affect it...
