Dentures or??

Missing/crooked teeth and I'm thinking dentures is an option based on cost of repair ,partials etc. I haven't gotten an estimate yet for either but just dropped 1k already ?

Sometimes people are not blessed by good genes in that department. All the brushing and flossing will only take you so far if you are predisposed to deteriorating teeth.

Take a look at implants, very expensive but a good fix. At 80, I have started breaking crowned teeth off
at the gum line. As you lose teeth it becomes easier to break them off. Implants fill the hole and help
stablize teeth next to them. Here in WNY we have a denist that will dig out the broken tooth and put in the
stud and screw on the implant in one day. $3000.00! Investigate..... I think they can hang 3 teeth on one
stud.

Keep at least 4 teeth on upper and lower jaw. Use them for the new type partials the are kept in with invisible rubber rings.

Touch?! I?m blessed with bad teeth. Ma and Pa both had dentures in their 50?s. The frau on the other hand is graced with a mouth full of solid teeth. Our girl is 25 and cavity free. Our boy is a different story.

Implants are the best, but not cheapest by a long shot, way to go. They have the best long term outcome. Fewer problems, less follow ups, land much better appearance. Most places they are costly but once you get past that very little cost in the future. A good dentist can make them look real and give you a great appearance.
Daughter works for ClearStream Dental who sell a digital imaging system that replaces xray?s and provides a precise image and can provide a extremely accurate location guide for implants for Dentists. She says most up to date Dentists favor the implants for long term success.

My mother and grandpa had false teeth In there 20s . If you get the right people to do then they work really well . Still not a road I?m looking forward to going down right now when I eat corn on the cob it?s takes 3 rotations of the cob to get all the kernels

I'm missing three upper molars. I considered implants, but there's so little bone between tooth bed and sinus cavities,
dentist is not hopeful. He said I would have to have cadaver bone transplants to provide a foundation for the implant studs,
and he would offer no guarantees even then. I'm going to have to settle for a bridge. Point is, implants are not a slam-dunk
for everyone.

We had an old MM corn picker like that. The folks were lucky in that respect. Number 1 sister married a dental lab tech. Ma always said if she had to do over she woulda got dentures sooner.

Could of had dentures by now. Have had dentures for over 25 years and wish I had gotten them earlier. Don't stop seeing the denturist until they fit right. Don't even know I have them most of the time. Fit good and look good. They will make them to match your OEM.

No dentures or implants for me ...... I guess I'm lucky. But I've always wondered how someone could complain about a $3000 implant and
drive a $50,000 pickup truck at the same time.
