Getting old is not so bad; wish I could spent the rest of my life getting old

Last Saturday night, I went to my high school grad class 40th reunion. Got to tell you, there sure were a lot of old people there, ha ha ! Turns out getting old really isn?t such a beautiful thing. Bald heads, grey sometimes white hair, some folks twice the size they were back in high school, Wow !! Naturally I hadn?t changed a bit, well maybe just a smidgen. 3 inches taller and about 80lb heavier, but I don?t think anyone noticed.

Bruce from Canada, just wait a few years as I went to my 64th graduation reunion this summer. A real lot of older folks. But I feel lucky to be able to be there.

Last Saturday my wife and I were at her 55 th high school grad reunion....1964...Dawson Creek BC Canada....

Years from 1960 >1969 were represented...town today has a population of 12,000...

There was a sheet on a window with everyone's name whom has passed away (had graduated years 1960 >1969)......Sunday morning brunch, the total had passed 170...

Some of us are ageing....some of us never made to "old"......

I think this year would have been my 60th. Never heard anything about it, don't know if they had a reunion or not. After back surgery in May I probably would not have gone, nearly 200 miles away.

Earlier in my life I heard the term ""Golden Olden Years"". I'm still trying to find out what the word GOLDEN is supposed to represent.
