1000 miles on the stealth

Summary, I am very pleased with it,

Mileage is 17 unloaded, 12.5 pulling boat at 70s, I pulled boat to Branson and much better low end torque and no downshifting.

I was curious and checked the mileage indicator against the tank and it is spot on.

One thing I have never done is worry about gas mileage. The truck I have is what I use empty or towing. I just put gas in it and go until I get there then home.

Stealth is a module that intercepts the MAP and fuel pressure sensor to fake the fuel and MAP pressures.

I bought it to reduce the turbo lag that my 2016 6.7L has. I had tried the Banks program change, but that let me with about 1 MPG decrease and excessive regions.

I did not check the indicator against fuel usage before, but it it was accurate before I am getting about 1 MPG better with much less turbo lag.

I keep track of my fuel usage because a major change can be a sign of problems that could be corrected before I am left sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. I'm funny that way.

The 6.7 is a ford Diesel engine he is referring to and the stealth he is referring to is a aftermarket module you can hook up to vehicle to modify you factory engine settings. Hope that helped

I Keep thinking I want one of the company's trade ins, F-450 V 10. Then I drive one and watch the readout say 7.6 MPG.

Another thing:

I had driven around town in trailer mode, this got rid of a lot of lag by keeping the gearing down, I do not even think about doing it now.

I do miss the automatic engine brake from trailer mode.
