I love old carbs. Hate to see em in piles of junk on a shelf, forgotten about.

Not sure on that number, but SOME of the Cs and Super Cs may have come with a Marvel-Schebler. It may also fit the A, Super A, and the B. Zenith carbs were standard on those tractors.

I tried to cross that to a tractor by way of a catalog I have and there is no listing for that carb on any of the tractor brands. Not for A/C or Case or IH of Ford or MH/MF or MM or Oliver not listed for any of the common brands.

But it could be off of say a road roller like the one I have and it had a M/S carb but I do not know what it is since I sold the engine out of it. Or it could be from a skid steer or power unit

If you look a little closer at that carburetor and the shape of it you will realize that it is not a Marvel. It is a Zenith. Can't quite make out the inner # on the disc, but it will identify it. Lee

Sometimes, when the engine is used in a farm tractor, it will have a specific model of carburetor listed, but if that same engine is used in a different application, a slightly different model of carburetor is specified. Usually it is the internal parts of the carb that are different, and those parts can be swapped. Just because the tag on the carburetor is not correct for a tractor, does not mean it cannot be made to work.

VACLee, got the carb soaking and can see zenith on it. I did some research and looks like Farmall A,B,and C. Not bad for $10?

Don't know why someone would put the tag under the screw. If you are reusing the screw from another carburetor at least remove the tag since it is not correct. The round disc is a pretty good indicator for Zenith units although there are always exceptions. Some of the IH branded units have the disc but they appear to be based on the Zenith design. Lee

To an old tractor collector, that has nothing to do with it. That just gives you a reason to now be looking for an A, B, or C missing the carb...

According to Tomco's AG& Industrial application guide it was used on Lincoln welder models: F162,F163, FJW, L-200, and SA-200.

Tracy Brown......you got one? Lol. Gene sold me the rusty carb for $10 and a good, rebuilt 8n carb for $40. He was in a good mood today! Lol.

Ah but think of it this way. That carb is parts for say the carb on the Farmall A or other such. I have a machine which has an Oliver 60 engine on it but part of the carb is for the 6o and part of the carb is from a Ford N series. Many parts work on more then one application. Remember the main jet needle I sent you well it came form parts I had laying around and oh by the way I found a complete carb that that needles would fit in that I had soaking for who knows how long

Actually there are only a few basic sizes of those carbs and they can be configured to fit something else.I've redone many, buy all the cheap carbs I can find probably have at least 100.The metal needle valves are no longer available are worth a lot too me,I hate the rubber type.
