I have some Muscovy Ducks around the farm they can hatch out a dozen or more ducklings at one time so they add up pretty quick. They are very good at bug control and will scoop up small snakes have never been big sellers until this year.Local fellow that deals some in poultry will peddle some for me,he came by Friday picked 12 ducks gave me 2 bushels of nice apples he'd picked up in PA plus $80 (I let him set the price) so that figures out to be $10 each since the apples usually run about $20 a bushel. He said some group of ethnic folks he met up are buying them.Never know what will sell these days.

They sell for $10 around here at animal swaps. I have a few and they lay alot of eggs but I never let them set. The guy that butchers goats and sheep for the ethnic people is paying 10 for large roosters now.

That's crazy In Florida when I was a kid they were wild and in every pond. Alligators and other predators didn't hardly put a dent in the population. Heard some city kids say they were going Muscovy duck hunting one time. They were using a pickup and would run them over.

10 dollars a duck or ten dollars a pound. If it's a pound must be a high grade duck. I'm I meat cutter at a grocery store and we sell farm raised duck for 3.99 a pound during the holiday they'll go on sale for 2.99 a pound

You should grow a LOT for export to China. With all the hogs dying off I understand the duck farmers are becoming millionaires, 'Course it don't take much time to grow ducks and
could flood the market quickly
