TEA20 Age

Good afternoon guys, I have just purchased my first TE20 and frustratingly there is no serial number plate or year markings in front of the hydraulic dipstick, I do have an engine number S49186E, can anyone tell the age from that?

engine and tractor serial numbers.

Try posting on the Ferguson board (not Massey Ferguson, just Ferguson) below.

A fellow there name of John Deere D will see it, he's up on the TEA's.

According to the book I have S1E to S100204E are type 20S petrol engine 80mm bore Standard engine. It should be 1948 to 1951 vintage. Sorry I
can't be more exact.
