I?m happy to report no random 10 year old kids got
their hands or heads chopped off and we got a few
bales loaded . How we did It I?ll ever know? Just
another day of risking everyone on the free planets
lives a risk someone had to take I guess. I?ve had
all I can take for one day I?m heading to my safe
space now goodnight

That's good to hear. I operated my brush hog today with my homemade pto shaft with no plastic guard on it and lived to see another sunrise.
 
I survived the GREATEST risk there is. Driving on the hi-way ! I made it into work today in one piece.
 
Glad to hear you are still not dead yet and no one got close to a moving machine to get injured.

I heading to town soon. I'm worried about someone running me over while using a phone.

You guys are scaring the crap out of me. We're going to bale some second cutting this afternoon. I might fall off the wagon or the baler could eat my arm. Splinter from the wagon deck? All the terrifying things that could happen. Think I'll stay in bed.
 
watch the stay in bed don't how or why but FELL out bed last year bruised hip lucky no break, but da11111 THAT HURT. WIFE JOKED WELL YOU DIDN'T BEND THE I BEAM, have house on I beams now since lifting in 2016 and put new basement under it.
 
We?ve all got to go sometime I reckon ? I?ll my best to not have it happen before my time but someday it?ll happen. Neighbor got caught in a rock picker crippled him for life yes it can happen . But if you will follow one really simple rule you can make sure that at least you don?t get caught in something and that is never ever leave the seat while that pto is on and turn off the engine before you work on anything.
 
I think we need to outlaw gasoline and cars I mean who?s going to protect us from drinking a five gallon jug of gas who would be that stupid ? Cars that right there is the ultimate death machine I mean who?s going to stop you from opening the door going down the road at 75 and jumping out ?
 
1. Hit a ground hog hole on a side hill and tip the whole load over on ya!
2. Get bit by a mad rattlesnake sticking out of a bale.
3. Get yer hand smashed trying to hook the wagon hitch onto the baler.
4. Get badly burned trying to put out the fire from a failing bearing.
5. Jump down off the wagon and break yer ankle on gopher mound.

I'm feeling sick......lol Leo

And I'm wondering why you have that fear.
 
It's nice to hear of this day, I can relate. I've said the good Lord likes it when I bale with what equipment I have as I'm praying all the time. We made it through, my son and I small square baling. We had a few episodes and a fair bit of hard work, but so did I at his age. He doesn't appreciate the big round baler as it took his job away. He had me over a barrel naming his price on stacking bales. Not the worst education for a teenager.
