Well, I headed for the woods about 1:00pm this afternoon. There was not a cloud in the sky and temp about 67F. I had around 2-1/2 cord of firewood logs at a landing all blocked and ready for splitting. I am a 1 man band so wifey followed me up with the PU to bring me back and get my other tractor and wood trailer. I got at splitting about 1:30. Took a few breaks, along the way. Jon F called and as usual that took a while, but my processor got anxious and screamed for me to get back to work HeHe. I topped off the load with small rounds and headed for home with the 431T and processor and then went back up to get my 440 and the wood trailer. I sure don't set any records for amount of wood cut per hour anymore, but every cord plus load I bring home adds to my reserve at this point, and tonight my back doesen't hurt although I lifted some pretty big blocks without the block lifter.
