Please Help with Discbine Belt Availability

My neighbor has a Kubota DMC 8536R Discbine that takes a belt 99.202.436. It takes three. The belts failed and dealer said he had the only set in the country. Ugh. This belt is a V-Belt but has a profile I have not seen before, a deeper "V".

First, did Kubota make that Discbine or did another manufacturer?

I Googled this part number and some links to Kverneland part number KT99202436 came up. Does anyone know if this would be the same part?

Second, any other ideas where to look for this belt?

Thanks.

Paul

It was made by Kverneland. Kubota bought them a few years ago. It is the same part number. I won?t take his word that he has the last set maybe try a different dealer or order a set of belts.

Also I would check with Messicks on availability on belt set. Or if you have a Deutz tractor dealer that part number will also work being Kverneland also built disc mowers for Deutz.

Thanks Mr. Cowman. It looks like Messicks has those belts. I passed all this information on to my neighbor.

These belts are supposed to last 10 years but when assembled one belt was not on the pulley. At least that is our theory. The other two belts stretched to the point they could not be tightened any more.

Hopefully Messicks still has belts in 10 years and my neighbor remembers where to go.😁

Thanks again. Paul

Do you have an industrial supplier nearby that sells belts? Take one of the new ones in when it arrives and get it measured. Then save the number for next time. There are very few belts that are built for a single application.
