Wanted to ask if the injector pump drive shaft is still available new and or can you get one for a supplier , my tractor has the Rosa master pump it?s a 67 year model didn?t have conversions came from factory, I?m thinking shaft is worn and knocked seals out. Tractor drives and runs good blows a bite of white smoke.

My main question is can you still get shaft for that pump ?
Is their a vendor that makes them?
Ih Dosent seem to offer one anymore.

Maybe that's cause IH failed in 1985 and closed their doors for good. Tenneco bought em out and merged em with Case and now Fiat owns em.

Looks like there are companies rebuilding those pumps? Maybe you'd be better off getting a reman?

Typically, if the seals won't hold, the input shaft "tube" in the Roosa Master pump is worn where the seals rub.

A local pump shop that's a Stanadyne dealer will have the parts and tooling to replace that.

I just need a new shaft can I get one from standyne or not?
Oh shows it to be discontinued but idk if I can get one from fuel pump company.

Instead of asking here, why don't you call the pump company and find out. They are the only one that knows.

How can the shaft be worn?? There is a bushing in the pump the seals ride on. If the bushing is worn shaft will be loose and seals not seal. If the seals are worn you will begetting diesel in the oil. Sounds like you need injector work.

I've never seen a shaft with severe seal area wear yet that it needed replaced. Your tractor has the seals in the adapter, NOT in the pump pilot tube like most Stanadyne/RoosaMaster pumps have. Are you getting fuel into the oil? That could be the seals. They get hard and can crack over time, then leak. When the pump needs repair THAT will also make the seals leak do to higher than normal housing pressure. ANYTIME I repair a 361/407 pump I INSIST the drive adapter is brought too so I can replace those seals. Also, white smoke is more likely a low compression issue not related to the seals. Only shafts I've ever replaced are shafts that have broken due to a seized pump hydraulic head. Several shafts are used, the number is stamped on the pump tang drive end.

The 806 DIDNT use the same seals as every other Roosa pump did. The pilot tube in this pump doesnt use seals in side on the drive shaft. IH used a lip type seal ahead of the pump in a adapter housing with roller bearings for sealing out the diesel fuel. Replacing the seals happens over time, just like replacing drive shaft seals and a pilot tube on every other Roosa. Problem is the seals from Case IH are expensive. I did a 806 this early summer and know the seals are still available through CNH
