Hydraulic oils for Massey 20C

I inherited my 1977 MF 20c tractor from my father. This last spring I had to have all four cylinders on the loader resealed. When I reinstalled them I used the oil he had previously purchased for this tractor. Both the front loader and rear hydraulics slowly drift down when the tractor is shut off. I get that it's old.
Now to the question. The oil that he had purchased was "Super S supertrac 303". I know that he is quite frugal and this may be less than quality oil. Is this a good hydraulic fluid? Does it meet specification? Or should I drain and replace it with something better? As best I can tell it is in the power steering, tractor hydraulic system, and the MF 32A loader. My primary concern is maximizing the life of seals and maintaining a good running tractor.

The fact that the loader and rear hydraulics drift down says that the seals on the cylinders are leaking and has nothing to do with the quality of the oil. Where the quality of the oil matters is in the gearing of the transmission and rear end. Those need oils with a higher specification than the old "303" so it would be a good idea to replace the oil, especially if it has any grey or white to it which indicates water has gotten in.

The oil is not causing the drifting down.

It's common for the rear lift to drift down on some models, not sure about yours.

But a loader should not. The oil is bypassing somewhere, either a cylinder seal or the valve.

With the engine off, can the drift be stopped by slightly moving the valve lever? If so the valve is not centering properly.

It's somewhat difficult to determine if the cylinder is leaking. About the only way is to raise and block the loader, disconnect and plug the bottom port of the cylinders, loosen the top lines. Let the load down and see which cylinder goes slack. If it continues to creep down, and oil coming from the top ports, both are leaking internally.

that 303 IS not to be used in that tractor best us for that stuff is to burn brush piles if you can get it to burn
