White 2-135 over/under

I have a series 3 white 2-135 that seems to have lost under in some of the gears. In gears 1 2 5 and R1 with the lever in under the tractor drives and pulls itself like usual except it doesn't seem to freewheel. When you shift from under to direct it doesn't seem to speed up or feel like it shifts. From direct to over you can feel it shift and speed up. On the other range of gears 3 4 6 and R2 under direct and over all seem to work like normal. I have only had this tractor about a year and am trying to get ready to use it this fall. Any ideas what could be going on with it?

Thanks in advance for any help

I'm not an Oliver/white guy, but the over/under is separate from the 6spd trany and one should have no effect on the other. I will be watching for the experts to chime in and see what's going on here. Maybe a linkage issue and it's only perception that makes you think gears are different.
