Worth anything? I'm in a junk store and I like this old thing. Ideas of who made it?

A lot of toys like that were made in E Germany and eastern European countries. I have a very cute one from around 20 years ago in the box. Windup tractor and wagon pair. The tractor actually has a multi speed transmission with the stickshift like the real thing. This one is on Ebay.

This looks like a Marx from late 40s to early 50s. Very poor condition. Nice ones don't bring much more than $20 in our area. I would leave it where it is.

Here's your tractor that has never been totally out of the box. Marx tractor.

Here is the Marx farm set that was only slightly played with.

I paid 125.00 for the one in the box and was able to cut the tape to open the box. I bought it from a guy the bought six unopened boxes at a closed hardware store auction. They opened one box at the auction and that was the one he was displaying at a toy show. I paid the same a few weeks earlier at a antique store a few weeks earlier about 25 years ago. Could have been 30 though. I have not been to a toy show in 15 years. I must have been buying toys in the wrong area.

eBay has softened the market a lot lot lot on Toy tractors. Some of the really rare ones will hold value fairly ok but anything mass produced you can usually buy cheaper than they cost when they were brand new.
