RE Greg's front mtd, Snow Plow

Too dark to get some pics last night. I acquired a Myers plow several years back. The blade was built by Myers with universal sub frame for farm tractors. I modified it to fit my Case 441 tractor. After I finished it I thought it would be handy to have a 3pt hitch on the front to use during the summer. so I built arms and an A frame to lift them with the plow cylinder. It worked out to be pretty handy.

The 3pt arms and adapter have to come off to install the plow. I thought about modifying the plow frame to hook to the 3pt arms, but haven't done it yet, and not sure if the arms would stand the abuse of the plow. They work well for a cross drawbar to move trailer etc, and I built a small 3pt utility carrier for it. My York Rake also works on it, for farm road maintaniance, but needs casters for better control-----Loren

Thanks Loren. I like your setup. I have used a back blade for years and would be handier to push instead of pull.
