4050 jd power shift

I have a JD 4050 tractor w/power shift trans. It HAS A LONG PAUSE & A JERK BETWEEN 11TH & 12TH GEAR. IS THAT NORMAL OR IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG? THANK YOU VERY MUCH

I don?t know about eleven to 12 on the 15 speed it?s been a long time since I?ve been in one but on the 8 speeds 7 to 8 hesitates and so does 3 to four if your under a full load it?s in those certain gears it dropping a bunch of clutches and brakes in the planateries that?s why they hesitate and they?ll jerk if you got the shift valve set for fast shifts . On the 16 speed funk In the 8000 series 3 to 4 or 4 to 5 can?t remember which will kill the motor on a good hard pull with a 9 shank v ripper that?s has dropped through the hard pan and then twelve to 13 was a hard shift those tractors were using cheap oil my cousin has one he only uses hy gard and it shift smooth as silk in all gears . the operators manual says you need to have the dealer recalibrate the transmission for shifting when other oils than hy gard is used but who reads the book 🤷‍♀️.

I?ve never really understood that comment what are
we to afraid to admit or tractors have some flaws
our where God and everyone can see it ? The same
guys that are on the John Deere board are here as
well . I see with all the brands not just John Deere .
The only time I think it?s applicable Is if the original
post had been put in implement alley or tool talk or
other completely irrelevant forum where nobody
would be likely to see it . I don?t see some of the
guys who are on tractor talk on implement alley
