I know its a tough question but I have a massey furgenson 30 backhoe I bought to fix up. the backhoe looks pretty good. thought about selling it but didn't know if there would be much interest. though maybe 1000 dollars for the backhoe. might just sell the whole thing. motor turns over fine with starter. missimg the hood and right rear tire is toast. just didn't know if masseys brought much attention. tractor doesn't run so I have not seen it work but was told it was working when it quit. what do you think.
 
If its not running, you'll be pretty much giving it away. Especially true with a backhoe, what with all the concealed oil lines that may turn into a geyser when the engine starts. I'd sure try to get it running, if it were me.
 
you can go to the massey board and find photos under what is it as I was trying to find out what model it is. from what I see it is a model 30 industrial backhoe. 34 and 53 bucket and backhoe. I am in Missouri. not to concerned with the hoses. rams all look pretty clean. does turn over with a battery. might just have to try to get it started. other than the one bad tire and maybe a rim, missing the hood and grill I think its all there. thanks email open
 
If you live in the country and get a backhoe, you will wonder how you ever lived without it. I bought a 1975 Ford 550 many years ago and it has saved my butt many times. I paid too much for it at the time and it has repayed me at least triple.

I know what you mean. I bought an international 340 about 10 years ago. don't use it much but when I do its needed for sure. just don't know much about masseys. oh well maybe its time to learn. thanks norm
