They made a universal kit fits most ever tractor in that era . Seen lititure on them in a j,d.dealer when i was a kid.

Dad had two Automatic cabs. One like the picture, he had on a Super WD-9.
The other he had on a MD. Perhaps not the fanciest in the world, but they
provided shade from the hot sun and a windbreak from cold wind while
seeding in the spring.

Had an automatic cab on a JD "60". Made it a lot better when plowing in the late fall and early spring. We had a flexible 4 inch hose that started up behind the radiator fan and stuck back into the cab. Surprisingly it did help keep it a little warmer. The cab did make it noisier. You heard all the transmission and rear end sounds.
