Indescribable

Just got home to Georgia from the Half Century of Progress show. You cannot describe it to someone who has never been. I do not think they would believe you. This was my second trip. I tried to find some of you under the big flag on Friday at 11:30, but did not know your faces and the Earthquake started plowing about that time. I enjoyed the corn picking and plowing the most. I would guess 100 tractors in line to plow and pick. Does anyone know the actual numbers? I have green and red, but one of my favorites was the 730 gas high crop, one of only six made. I saw Tim's rare 60's and bought some more decals from Travis Jorde. I can think of nothing more enjoyable in the tractor world. Who else was there?

I got to visit with TimS and JD Seller, Thursday and Friday. I missed the flag meet too as I was talking to several friends from other states. Drove down Wednesday on the tractor, 165 miles in nine hours. LOTS of interesting equipment to see!!

Yup, sure did. Goal is 4,000 miles this year going on rides in several states. Has 3,645 miles now after driving home Saturday from Rantoul. The Mackinac 250 mile drive to the bridge is next, then an Iowa two day, and Minnesota two day ride will probably end the season.

That's some goal, and record in my book. Is this all on the same tractor, the one I saw the picture on here a few nights ago?

Dieseltech that is awesome? What do you drive? We had a couple that came to our winter ride a couple years back and there goal was to do a ride in all 99 counties in Iowa. They did get it done I hear. The fella that came with him did around 1500 miles in a tear and I thought that was allot.

Just went Thursday, Didn't get there by 11. But did drive first to flag. No one there. It's a awsum show, loved it. Did pull my 435 JD Thursday. Didn't get last. Need to up date its injectors.
