Justg got home from the Half Century of Farm Progress Show

Just got home from the 2019 show. It was Great!!! Got to met some fellow YTers, JohnT, Kruser, DieselTech, TimS and some others that I am forgetting their names. It is a very good show. IF you can arrange it I would recommend it to anyone. Good family fun. Amazing the people you see there. I was 275 miles from home and met loads of people from right around home. LOL Can't sneak off anywhere. LOL

I have a lot of pictures. Neat old stuff and some newer nice stuff too. I will try and post them this week.

Loads of very nice people. You go to something like this and you see what really makes this country great!!!! I met people from around the entire country there. All good people.

Fun seeing you again JD, lets do it again two years from now ???? I also have more pics and videos I was able to take when the fair queen wasn't bothering me and will post them later, I'm headed back to Indiana shortly. This show is indeed THE MOTHER LODE for prairie tractors and other unusual n rare machinery you don't see elsewhere.

Please schedule the get together earlier so plans can be made !! Would've liked to meet
all the YTers there. My brother and I were there from Wednesday to Friday. Under the flag
is a great spot. If you time it right you can watch harvest,plowing and the parade.

So RIGHT, JD! Excellent show with lots of interesting machinery. Glad to finally meet you, and TimS in person, but sorry I missed the rest of the YT gang. I drove by John Ts camper a couple times but the cart was gone, it is a busy place after all. Glad you got home safe, I'm sure you made better time than I did!!

Great show, great time spent 12 hours there on Friday with 3 other friends but too much to see just in one day cannot wait until 2021 maybe that time I will see if I bring out an old JD 2 hole spring corn sheller to run and display

My brother, 2 friends, and I went the first 2 days and had a great time. It was the friends' first time attending and they were impressed. I also met and talked to Tim S. He is very intelligent and very pleasant to talk to, a good guy!

I also bought the 2 volume set about corn pickers and their new corn crib book. I have a full page in it with 3 pictures and a little history of the crib. I don't have the page number, but it is the "Otte corn crib".

The organizers do a super job putting on and running the show. After attending 4 years ago we rented a golf cart. The shuttle golf carts were a great idea. My friend has a "how to set a moldboard plow" book and I think he needs to teach a training school on this topic at the next show.
