2002 Tahoe - knock sensors

Anyone tried to replace these in their shop? Looks like the intake has to come off and the two sensors each sit in their own "well" with a rubber cap covering them. Due to the amount to work to get to them it appears I will be replacing both sensors and the wiring harness - given the fact everything is 17 years old.

The intake does have to come off, not hard to do. No coolant or distributor involved, pull it off complete with throttle body and fuel rail. The holes the sensors are in fill up with water, then the water gets forced up the wiring pigtail. The sensors and the harness will be green and need replaced. Hopefully the water has not made it into the main truck harness and down the PCM. I have had to make new runs of wire clear to the PCM due to water wicking clear down and shorting things out.
