R.w.b. They very well may not have the money to repair the church. A lot of rural churches just do not have much money these days as the numbers of members falls. Might have been under insured too.

Five years ago when hurricane sandy went up the coast here in NJ it busted stuff up like that. There is Still stuff not repaired. With your pictures when you see junked up sites, homes busted up, lawns looking like a road side ditch it all looks the same. Many many things finnaly just get torn down.

Find out who is involved in the church and make a donation if it bothers you! No offense, but why people think churches can just start writing checks these days is beyond me. If you want to see the church, or any other building like that fixed (Grange Hall, IOOF hall, old school) get busy and spend some money. Most rural churches and organizations are struggling for membership these days.

This church was about every sunday filled to capacity. We was thinking we would got a touch of help from our county, they sure liked using it as a voting place.
No matter what its sad its tore up as well as the other houses and barns in the path of the tornado

You think county GOVERNMENT should put money into a CHURCH??? Friend, that would be something to see. It's just the opposite of what modern society preaches! "Separation of church and state!!! It's in the Constitution!!!" Well, no, it isn't, but that doesn't seem to matter.

I hope the congregation can fix their building.
