I finally got the blades changed on my Bush Hog. Nuts came right off and heat and a little sledgehammer persuasion the bolts came out with no trouble. The blades and bolts were original and never have been off. I thought it would be a little harder!

Wow you do have some big tools. Nothing like a bigger hammer, pipe wrench, tourch, come along, etc. When all else fails....grab an 8 pound sledgehammer. I have one. Monster time!!!

I worked on those at a dealer for a couple of years. I am not a fan of their blade bolt set up. Sometimes a big, heavy spud bar would knock them out, usually after I thought my arms were going to fall off! And I had a few I had to heat, and or cut out. I have a Woods brand myself, and it is SO much easier to change the blades on it. Mark.

I have two, I found that an 8' pipe on my 3/4" drive breaker bar gets the nuts loose. A steel post driver and old disc shaft works great for knocking the bolts out.
