On ebay in Rogersville a deere 24t. Know knothing about it just saw it. I am not able to due pictures or links. I thought you were in Alabama, pardon me if I was wrong.
 
absolutely nothing wrong with a 24 T if is in working order. tie good and trouble free. be a little slower than the bigger new Hollands . pretty sure it will go side by side to a 273 new Holland.
 
Rogersville is a little less than 200 miles from him.

Yep. I'm in Alabama. I think I need to plan on spending $1000-1500 on a baler and give up on the $500- ones!
 
You can find some cheaper good balers but to do so you need to know what to look for and that takes years of messing with them. I started out the hard way with cheap balers and learned the hard way what to look for and all
 
I don't know that part of the US very well but 200 miles seems a long ways to go for a baler. 200 miles in most directions would put me in another state or even another country (Canada).
 
I agree whole-hearty,and would be better to find one on the farm that has just bailed as opposed to some jocky or auction .
 
We are needing a backup baler to a 430w. Is a 435 just a little newer. I'm in Southern Il. Probably 120 miles from you at most. 618 599 8041
 
Just be patient and keep looking a deal will come up.From now until the first of next year is the time to bargains especially as we get near the holidays lots of people need
some extra money then.I bought a nice Oliver 62T baler at a consignment sale 3 years ago at a Fall consignment auction works great and fits my needs,paid $200.
 
We were looking at a bunch of 24 stuff and found that. A baler is one thing you need trouble free. One thing paying a little more for a good one will be money well spent. Also off season is a good chance to buy at a reduced price.
