You wanna come work on my 4430 next? The entire system has been replaced. All lines, even multiple compressors. The only shop around is the local jd dealer. They said to update it to a 50 series compressor. That lasted about a month before it blew out. They replaced it under warranty and this one has lasted a couple years now. Every time it just keeps the cab tolerable on a hot day. You still break into a small sweat and it's uncomfortable but better than outside. The dealership finally just said that's the best it'll be and walked away. The original ac in it was great. My neighbor has a 4430 as well. On a 100 degree day he barely has to bump it off low or your teeth start chattering. Their shop has really went down hill since they were bought out.

If you ship me out there I?ll come do it . All the shops want to do is throw parts at something then wonder why it won?t work

agree. those had an expansion valve that had to be insulated and so on and might need some foam insulated in the evaporator as well. oh well Same, ship me in and i bet we can work it up for you.

In all honesty I've spent enough on that ac that would've been the cheapest option. Decent shops in this area are nowhere to be found.

Has anyone put gages on it ? Has anyone made sure the compressor clutch Is getting power and that it?s working

Is the heater valve turning all the way off ? If everything is ?right? and it still don?t work something ain?t ?right ? you?ll have to get really good at diagnosis on that system and study up until you know forwards and backwards how every component works in that system and how they each relate to the other components a good time I know but that?s the only way you?ll fix it . either that or keep throwing parts at it until it?s a completely new system and hope It comes for the best sometimes it does sometimes it still doesn?t

How about putting a couple of ball valves in the water lines to the heater like on trucks. Then the hot coolant can't flow in the cab to deal with. I turn them off on the truck so the AC will cool better in the summer by not trying to cool the hot coolant.
