Planning on building a rig to turn long compost piles, and most designs need a tractor that SLOWLY creeps along to allow the rotors to till the pile.
There are some lightweight rigs on the web...might need a more robust design.
To me that means a hydrostatic type drive, not a clutched rig.
Looking for clues to select a 60hp-80hp tractor that can creep along at <1/2mph. The extra power here is for other major farm duties, not just flipping poo.
OR a better design of compost pile turner.
The tractor should come out of the IH Case family
