Harvest begins in the kingdom

Got my swather running and decided to test it by cutting some of the grass hay in the pasture and along the ditches.

Cut maybe 4 acres or so. Ran over it with the conditioner yesterday, but forgot pics, then raked it today. The rake is a case model 281 and pulled with my 830.

Hay has been selling high here since there is so little that is green because of all the rain we've had. Some of my oats is really poor, so I'm thinking about cutting that for hay too. May the re-seed it to oats for another crop of hay or fall plow down. Supposed to be nice weather all next week. Kinda nice to finally be getting something to sell, however little it is. Been a long and expensive year so far.
 
I think he's talking about the other pic before that one in the upper right corner. In the second pic that is deffinately the king's hand. Lol
 
Here in my part of Ohio guys some guys have combined oats and wheat. Others will be awhile until it's ready. A few fields just now got around to the first cutting of hay ( or weeds )others are on 2nd
