Case 2096 powershift

So I have a few questions about my case ih 2096. When I release the clutch the tractor jumps and when I push the clutch the tractor stops like you hit the brake. Another thing is the power shift worked fine up until yesterday. Now it won't shift out of first. And info would help thank you

Take some time and check the wiring connection between the cab wiring harness and the chassis harness. Most
likely an electrical problem rather than hydraulic or mechanical problem.------------Loren

Two micro switches on the clutch pedal that can stick or break or just slip out of adjustment. Will
put you through the windshield sometimes. I do not remember the procedure to check and adjust them
but did a few when those tractors were new and they added a additional safety feature that would not
all power shift to engage until clutch was depressed after start up, or something real close to
that.
