We've been out of power for almost a day and a half. 14K Generac is doing good. Was at my son's place in Greenville this morning with my chainsaw. Kind of a mess around there. A whole line of power poles down. Was told it would be about 5 days for me and 7 days for my son to get power back. I was in New London an hour ago. Every street is lined with branches and limbs. Trees across the roads and on buildings. What a mess. That will take weeks to clean up. The good part is, everybody is alive and kickin!

Big storm around here too (Barron & Polk Counties Wi) lots of people without power. Loaned out my small Honda to a friend so they can run refrig etc. A lot of wind damage too.

My oldest son is in Plover and has been out of power since last night. we brought him our little gen this morning. Lots of trees and power poles down Grand daughter lost power last night but they got it on this morning. It looked bad here in price county but not any damage here at our house. Randy

I'll be calling my insurance agent in the morning. We lost a pair of 18x12 slider doors on the west end of the machine shed. One door about 100 yards away and the other still on the track but damaged. The header split and pulled out. The siding on the west end is wrinkled and the screw holes are now all slotted so the shed was doing some serious flexing during the storm. It appears that the shed may be leaning a little but it is hard to see how that could happen with a full cement floor without breaking the posts. We'll investigate more tomorrow. And I'll be picking some goosenecked corn again this fall. (sigh) SE Iowa. ADB

Here in nwia I have some corn snapped off above the ear. It is just beginning to tassel. No tassel means no pollination. Hopefully the remaining tassels on the corn that did not snap will do the pollinating.

My daughter in Stevens point was lucky no real damage but the neighborhood didn't fare well, alot of tree and roof damage.Came thru wisconsin rapids when it hit.Stopped and waited it out.

Spendt most of sat. Opening up our road, the way the power poles snapped off I'm thinking maybe a week before I see power. I'm just north east of Stevens point. Sunday had way to many gawkers going up and down the road, many should be thankful I wasn't armed
