i have set up an electrolysis tank and having good luck with it. Has anyone used one to clean the inside of a gas tank? would be interested in your results.

Yes I did a 3010 gas tank it took over a week and about 4 tanks of solution It did work though.

I used plain water and borax in my experiment with it. Worked good cleaning rust off old chisels. Source was a 12V car battery hooked up to charger.

I?ve done several, I used some scrap rod I had, bent it into a shape that got a 90 degree turn into the tank, then used a couple of wood wedges
to keep it centered and isolated at the neck. Remember it works by line of sight and you might have to move the anode around to get good coverage.
