Finally got a chance to upload some edited video from the drive home on Canada day from the car show. Its a great scenic
drive along the winding shore of Echo Lake. Not a lot of traffic since it is no longer the main highway to the "Fort"

Thanks for the ride, 3 on the tree brings back memories. Always seemed motor was happiest when it had long stretch in 3rd/overdrive. Radio delete option in the Chevy?

Any Canadian cars at the show? Seems that would be a focal point. I have seen several Canadian-only versions of US cars in Canada and find them kind of interesting. Ford Falcon as a Frontenac in Canada? Dodge truck as a Fargo. Chevy II as a Acadian Canso. Chevelle as a Beaumont. Plus some non US brands we were never allowed to buy new in the USA.

Definitely a few Canadian only cars showed up. My cousins bought a Beaumont new in 67.The 51 Monarch and Meteor were two that caught my eye at the show. You can see the Monarch at the 4:50 mark near the end o the show video.

Thanks for the post and video. You have a talent there. If you ever needed extra income beside the farm, you could do video advertising.

Thanks for the "ride-along video" Rusty. That's a scenic drive, we've been over those roads a few times on Sunday afternoons. Your Chevy II interior is about as spartan as my old Dart although I do have an AM radio. Are you going to take in the show at Dysart this summer?

Yes. I try to never miss the Dysart show as it helps support the museum the more people sign the guest book. Just hope its not as hot as last year so I can take the old Merc too. Last year hit near 40C (100F) and I was not going to risk it. August 10 is coming up fast.
