Followed me home last night. Was offered this tractor 4 years ago. Made a comment to my employer about his 930. Always liked them, would like to have one someday. He says got another one I would sell. Never acted on it. Fast forward, couple months ago for the heck of it I asked if he still had it. Says he, Yup and it's got your name all over it. Couple months latter here it is. No history on it. He got it in some wheelin dealin. a few years ago. Spent part of it's life in Canada from the sticker on it. Took it for a drive this morning. Brings truth to the saying, 40 acres to turn this thing around.

Awsom tractor. I want a 900b pretty much same tractor. One near me went to scrap yard last winter and owner knew I wanted it but, sad. I do have a 1030

Awesome. It looks like pure muscle. You wont see many three point hitches on those big ol tractors from Sask. when I was driving through a dealer lot in Weldon, I saw a bareback 1086. In Iowa you never see a row row crop bareback tractor that new with no PTO. I didnt know that variation was available.

Back of the fenders and the grill screens are a little bent but that's about it. Fuel tank has the worst of the rust. Not bad at all for a 60 year old tractor.

You are very fortunate to have that. They and the "long nose" 930s are held pretty tightly by their owners. Where are you located?

I'm happy with it. Neighbor years ago had a 500. That's where my interest came from, but I like the styling better on this. I have a 509 power unit also, so it kind of goes with that. I'm in MI east of Saginaw.

No 3pt on those. They evolved from the LA, 500, 600, then became the 930 Wheatland. They had the 6spd trany with chain drive rear end rather than bull gear and pinion. Case sold a lot of those. That trany and rear end is about the most bullet proof ever made. Can't say I've ever heard of an issue with them. And with the oil bath clutch that will last forever too, the one in my DC is still original. The draw back is no 3pt and the PTO is higher than standard and a pain to use for some things. Also no adjustable tread.
