Weed Identification

Just wondering if anyone knows what this weed is? Looks lime a minature wild sunflower. It could be a Black eyed Susan, but not sure. Anyone know? It is in my prairie hay field in spots and I want to make sure it's not toxic to horses. Thanks in advance - Bob

Yes, that's a black eyed Susan. I don't know much about horses ,but if our state flowers were harmful there wouldn't be many healthy horses in Maryland.

This is from the Cornell site. Looked at several others and they were all about the same. Only in large quantities and make them sick if that.
