I have been appointed to sell an old Minneapolis Moline tractor that was in my wife's family since it was purchased new by them so its a one owner tractor. It even has the original operating and maintenance manual book with it. I was hoping that someone here could tell me a little more about it so that I could list it for sale. I did find the data plate on the right side of the transmission case. MODEL U and SERIAL 0115000375. It has the narrow tricycle front end on it. It appears to be all there but I do not know if it runs or not? I have photos of the tractor also. Is there a Minneapolis Moline expert out there that could give me more information on this tractor please? It would be very much appreciated. Please email me. Thank You

Be well worth the effort to get it running. Non running tractors are mostly worth scrap price, except for rubber. Be great if someone in the family wanted it.

itto on the running/scrap.

I like the old MM's, have a GB & UTE. The down side is they just don't have much value. Popular with the pullers, but not so much with collectors. Not running, scrap price unless it has good rubber. Hope someone will save it.

You have a 1950 UTU. Location and condition affects value. In my area, I've seen good running ones with good rubber bring $2500 at public auctions, and I've seen poor condition non-running ones go for scrap price.

(quoted from post at 18:07:54 07/09/19) Location affects price. Where are you located? Lot less MMs in Alabama than the mid west.

I am about 50 miles north of Cincinnati, Ohio. a town called Eaton, Ohio

Thanks everyone for your help and information. I will be listing it for sale very soon and I hope that someone can restore it and bring some happiness to them. Its a nice old tractor that has been on one family farm since it was purchased new.
