The Impala has been acting up, so I'm driving the tractor hauler for a while, 98 Chevy 3500 dually. The left turn signal started flashing real fast, so I figured I had a bulb burned out. Took it apart this afternoon, someone had been in there and pulled the wire out of the clip on the tail light assembly. They stripped it back about a inch and a half and stuck the wire back into the clip and put red silicon on it. Finally got the little end out of the clip , couldn't spread it to get the old wire out, finally took the smallest drill bit I had and drilled the wire out. BUT , I drilled thru part of the wire end. I got it soldered back onto the wire and all back together and it works now. Quite a hassle, but I think it will last as long as I will now. Chris

Good job! Amazing the rigged up things we find on old stuff.
Seems fixing it correctly would be easier sometimes. But I proudly admit I can make it work.
