Just reading Cambolted news letter. Shows several tracked Kubota combines. Never knew hwy made combines. Wonder when Kubota combines will show up in the states?

They make a lot of equipment that's not available in the US. I think they've made combines for several years.
They caution us a lot about making statements, but they could say they are the worlds larges combine maker and be correct if one counts total units. They dominate the southeast Asia rice market. Have had several dealers try and get one like the rubber tired one for the small farm market here in North America. I would say it will happen but down the road a few years. They have such strong controls , I tried to buy a used one over there and import it (I have all the import licenses) but could never get it out of Japan. I wanted one to just play with here on the farm.

My personal take on Kubota is they are great commercial tractor for over seas and residential tractor for the states.
This is because size does not matter in these two markets.
Take the residential market here in the states.
They complain about their knee hitting the flasher switch on the dash every time they turn around in the seat.
But they put up with it because they were shopping price and had to settle for small when buying.
But what commercial farmer here in the states is going to buy a combine with a 6 foot head.
None I know of because size and acres per hour rule way more than price.

Only eat rice. Yes charger is fine. . Just finished electrolysis project, used large shop charger with starting phase.
