WD 45 Radiator caps

I just replaced WD45 radiator. Radiator guy says it"s critical to know if you use a 4# or 7# pressure cap. The old system never seemed to build any pressure and it did not have a pressurized cap.

They came from the factory with the 7 lb radiator cap.

The AGCO parts book shows 4lb. for the WD45 and 7lb. for a WD. The WD45 diesel page shows 4lb. as well.

Possibly overheat. Overflow. Pressure raises boiling point of water.

Thanks Jim. It would also be great if the remanufactured radiators had the upper outlet offset so a guy wouldn't have to mess with a flex
hose.
