Adding hydraulics to Ford 801 powermaster

I would like to add hydraulic ports to my Ford 801 powermaster.
Dual ports would be nice but a single port would suffice. Is there any suggestions or advice on this matter?

Welcome to the YT forums!. Go on ebay and search for FORD TRACTOR HYDRAULIC REMOTE CONTROL VALVE KIT 600 801. This will bolt onto your 801 after you remove the top cover plate.

You will generally see them called a
remote valve.
As Showcrop said it is a simple matter
to remove the block off plate and
install a single or dual valve in its
place.
New ones are nearly cost prohibitive -
like $1200? for a dual and probably 800
for a single. I would look for a used
one and expect to pay about $250 for a
single and $500 for a dual.
There are several different styles. I
don't know that one type is better than
another. Ford used the exact same
mounting base and valves on all of their
under 70? HP tractors from 1955 all the
way up to 1983 that I know of.
So any valve from a 600, 801, and
2/3/4/5 and 7000 plus all the
2600/36/46/5600 tractors are a direct
bolt on for your 801.
First photo shows a single on a 4000.
Second photo shows the block off plate
under the seat on a 4600.

Sure blows that $1200.00 price quoted above. I sure would not mess with used when can buy new for that price.

Some of the orignals do not have the detent in them to hold in position, you have to hold handle to complete cycle. Detent you just push and let go and it will kick out when cycle completes.

There's one original single remote on eBay for $400, everything else that fits that 801 is China stuff.
Haven't used the China valves so can't say how they hold up.
All of mine have original or Tisco valves that are made like originals,
neither are being made today.
