Compatibility of Ford and Farmall tractor rims

I just got a 1956 farmall 300 utility. The tires are peeling off the tubes but still holding air. Just wanted to know if anyone knew if a Ford rim was the same. Someone I know has a for he thinks 60 with the same 6 hoop rim. Well they look the same. I'm new to these old tractors. I can get the whole tractor for 700. The tire are in great shape. If anyone knows if they're interchangeable let me know thanks.

Knowing what size tires you have would
help.
Ford used a lot of 6 loop 28" rims.
From 1940 or so all the way into the
80s. Different widths of course.
Ford also used some 30" and 38" rims but
they were 8 loop. A lot of their
Industrials used 24" 6 loop too.

My tractor has 13.6-28 the Ford has 12.4-28. Sorry if I'm putting this in the wrong spot. This is my first time doing anything on a forum. I could add a pic of mine if that would help

You need to get out your tape measure and find out. If the bolt holes all measure the same, then yes it will fit.Do a thurough look over, compare? They could be a '6 loop',or a deep drop center(like an 8N)type,they would interchange. 'Color' dosent really matter. One or two mfgers made one or two rims for all tractors.

Not sure exactly what rims you have, but I have JD MT with bad rims.
I went to Steiners, got just the rims, welded the centers from the old rims into
the new rims. Worked great. Saved a lot of money for me.
