Found this carb for sale , decent price,it's in IN ,so I can't go look at it. Guy says he inherited a bunch of Allis parts but doesn't know anything about them. Any idea what it's off of? Value? Thanks.

All you've showed us is the "choke lever side".

Should be a "TSX..." round brass tag opposite the choke lever, or on top.

I'm in IN, and right now my scrap yard is at $100 a ton for mixed iron. That makes that carb worth 5 cents a pound.

Va series case, governor rod against engine blocck, gas line to outside, choke cable to outside air horn to rear.but ive been wrong before

It is a small body Marvel Schrebler carb. Could have been used on dozens of different engines. The throttle and choke shafts could be inserted from either side to work with what ever engine that they were fitted to.

If the brass tag is present, it will help you figure out what it fits. If the tag is missing, it looks like a decent parts carb. Marvel Schebler carbs have great parts interchangeability, and are easy to repair and modify. Around here, complete used carbs like that one go for about ten bucks, really rusty or incomplete, maybe five. I've got a grease pail full of old MS carbs, and a box full of partially used rebuild kits. Haven't been stumped yet. unc

Looks like a Marvel TSXU- not exactly like this one though.
U for universal.
Linkages could be put in either way, choke cable holding plate
turns so the cable can come in from the front, top, bottom, etc.
Gas line could be put in from either side.

The one in these pictures now has a Ford throttle rod in it and is
installed on a 1946 MoTowTug forklift with an 8N engine in it.
