The 1955 Ford was bought new by this fellow's Father. They parked it in 1972. His Father wanted to drive it one more time. So the son/family got the car running so the Father could drive it one more time at his 99th birthday party.

Now the really neat thing. The car is all original. It is in super shape for its age. I love listening to the family talk about growing up riding in the car. Just a neat family history. I am glad they shared this moment with us.

he is right, that's what life is all about ! very good. they kept it nice. I have my 2010 Challenger SRT8 put away with about 2000 miles on it. think I will go for a spin too when I turn 99, lol.

Did you hear the daughter talking about how tight her father was??? When they come over to clean the house they have to wait for the water heater to heat the water as the old fellow turns the breaker off to save electric. LOL

That is good stuff right there, I hope I am that sharp when I get his age, unfortunately I doubt I make it that far, most people don't.

I just purchased a 1955 Ford identical to this one that has 20,000 original miles and could be put in a showroom today. It is a 3 speed on the column with Overdrive. They were really great cars in their day. This one is all original and never been touched. Very lucky to find it as it is an Original Montana car with no rust.
