I saw a list of antiques for sale. On that list was a John Deere bicycle. Made in the late 1800's. Anyone heard of old JD bicycles? Stan

First I've heard of it, but evidently they did.

You can still buy JD bicycles, but they are not made by JD, just a decal and green paint!

JD sold bicycles back in the seventies. I wasn't aware they made them in the nineteenth century, but apparently they did. Not too surprising, as there were a LOT of bicycle manufacturers in the 1890s.

Here are 3 John Deere bicycles that sold at an online auction here in Mason, Michigan this past Tuesday, June 18. If I did this correctly, the link below will take you to page 2 of the auction listing and the 3 John Deere bikes are Lot #52 - John Deere Mountain Bike that sold for $165, Lot #53 - John Deere Bike that sold for $77, and Lot #54 - John Deere Bike that sold for $44.
