few years back I bought a jd gator with manual dump and locking differential. last year my tires were getting bald so I decided to put new one one. I asked my tire guy if they made any that had like tractor lugs on them instead of smooth tread. he showed me a photo of a tire like that. had him put them on. man that thing really gets around. been so wet this year riding back on the property with shorty (my dog) that thing hasn't hardly ever spun a tire. 6/7 inches of snow is no problem. best thing I ever did is put those type of tires on. shorty says passenger seat is his. you can ride with me but you will have to hold shorty in your lap.

I had an 825 diesel Gator and it would go way more places then my 4wheeler (at the time)! I got up a hill checking fence and had to have my wife bring a come along and tow rope to get down. She came in off the neighbors but I still had to walk a bunch to get attached to something solid.
I did lay mine on it?s side one day. Same day I put my 4wheeler in the river and roped a neighbors bull that out weighed my horse by 2.
Not my best day.
