What can you all tell me about this one? Are they desirable? Is it original? Thanks in advance.

Takes 40 acres to turn it around with those old wide fronts. Looks like an original. Not all that rare except in maybe some areas.

That is the old style cast wide front mounted as the did on most of the first two years of production. than they came out with the adaptor plate to set the wide front back so axle was under the bolster and made turning around distance better.

Lots of Farmall F12, F14, F20 F30, C, SC, H, SH, M, SM, 300 & 400 around and don't think I ever saw a wide front on a farm, only a couple of the regular, &f series in colections. Grew up when the F12 was still a working farm tractor.

Yes. I understand that, but I don't think the original wide fronts set quite that far forward. Something is hinky about the whole set-up.

Thank you. Would be a neat one to have but it's at least double the price of a narrow front and i cant afford it anyway. I get excited in the evening but when morning comes reality sets in. :(

Thank you. I thought it might be. Wasnt sure if they are rare on H's or not. Never seen one out here. The paint looks a shade different like maybe it wasnt original to that tractor.

Mine is set back and it turns really well. It looks like the one in the picture is missing the brace's that go to the frame rails
