Does anyone know where I can get adjustable stabilizer bars for my 9-N?
I currently have flat bars which connect under the axles and run to the implement pins---these compliment the lift arms. However, there's no offset on these stabilizers, and neither are they adjustable.
I&T Ford Shop Manual (FO-4)shows adjustable "stay rods" with offset (page 145), but the diagram suggests they fasten up to the rocker (top link)---I prefer adjustable stabilizers, with offsets, which connect under the axle (I suppose I could do without the offsets, so long as they're adjustable.)
Parts list at this website displays "Stay straps" which appear to be adjustable and with offsets, but I'm unclear if they're what I need. (Stay Strap - Lower Part No: 9N5375/Stay Strap - Upper Part No: 9N5374) Where do these parts connect to the tractor?
If I have to, I'll make what I need, but would much prefer to purchase a set.
Thanks for consideration of this request.

If I am understanding you correctly, you want to control hitch side-to-side "sway".

The bars with the slots typically are used to lock the hitch at a certain height, as an example, when using a mower, and that's a different matter.

I'm surprised this site doesn't seem to have them.

TSC sells them and they are in stock at several stores near me, if you go to the TSC website and enter your zipcode, you can find out what nearby stores have them in stock. (I have a set that I modified a bit (shortened) on my IH 424.)

Drawbar Stay rods Lift straps are used in conjunction with drawbar. Think I seen them last trip to tractor supply. I know dennis carpenter had them as well as link_disallowed.

Once you get the height of your drawbar where needed lock you 3pt lever down cause if you raise it up you will bend the arms.

I have not seen the kits for the sway chains in recent years. The other option is adjustable swap bars/straps.

I have used the adjustable stabelizers shown below and they often work very well. Only problem is when your 3 point hitch pin isn't long enough and it is welded in. I also use the bars that are normally hooked to center link support, as sway bars, they are adjustable but not as thick as screw type

I got a set from this site for my 2000. Made a world of difference using the 503 hay rake as I do quite a bit of sidehill raking, and the York rake on driveway gravel.
