With all the rain we've had in s.w.Pa I'm kind of hesitant to cut much hay. Tue morning i cut about 4 acres, tedded it late afternoon. Wed before noon raked it. A little after 1 PM, Left the shed with the tractor and square baler, drove half a mile to the field, baled 276 bales and parked the baler at 2:30. My helper and myself and the 8-ft bed pickup truck picked up, hauled and stored in the barn mow the 276 bales in exactly 2 hrs. It was a pleasant day, didn't hurry, nice breeze and didn't even get dehydrated. I'm 75 and soon to be 76 ! I'm thankful for my health and for my one good helper.
